Early-period WH (Luftwaffe) 'Buntmetall'-based breast-eagle ('down-tailed'-pattern)

This is an attractive - and in this 'Buntmetall'-based version actually quite rarely encountered! - item: a WH (Luftwaffe) breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Sommerrock') as was intended for usage on the white-coloured summer-tunics, being a very detailed- (albeit non-maker-marked-) specimen showing an early-pattern, 'down-tailed' eagle that comes in an overall very nice (and I deem only moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The eagle is - as stated - a very detailed example (of the first pattern!) that is constructed of fairly shiny (ie. 'off-factory'-polished-) 'Buntmetall'-based metal. The eagle - which has naturally a functional and non-altered pin- and catch(set-up) - has - as stated - great pronounced detail and was never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). As possibly known are also these breast-eagles regrettably also copied (most times being the aluminium ones which are clearly stamped 'A' in the centre on the back): this one is as stated above of course a 100% garuanteed original example that originates from a private-household and that was never part of any collection. Simply a very decorative - and truly rarely seen! - summer-type, 'Buntmetall'-based LW breast-eagle of the first-pattern!
