This is an attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - WWII- (ie. TR-) period, so-called: 'Deutsches Fahrerabzeichen' (ie. 'in Bronze') being a neatly maker- (ie. 'L.Chr. Lauer'-) marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit most certainly issued- and/or just moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat - and very detailed award - which comes mounted onto its functional pin- and/or catch (-set-up) - is a superb bronze-coloured- and/or pronounced specimen as was produced by the: 'L.Chr. Lauer'-company as was based in the towns of Nürnberg and/or Berlin (something that is of course clearly shown on the back of the badge). The badge also shows a patent-pending-designation (that reads: 'Gesetzlich Geschützt') as can be clearly seen on the pictures. The badge truly retains all of its somewhat darkened bronze-toned- (ie. minimally tarnished-) finish and is - I deem - only moderately worn (but was certainly never cleaned nor polished). The piece is naturally a WWII-/TR-era badge and not a 1957-version (something that is easily noticed by the presence of the capital 'R'-character as is visible on the bottom of the badge). Simply an attractive example of this fairly scarcely encountered and/or very decorative award that is with certainty accordingly priced!
