Commemorative, N.S.D.A.P.- (ie. D.A.F.- or: 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront') related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as issued to commemorate a gathering simply named: 'Gautagung der Technik - Karlsruhe - 1.-4. Nov. 35'

This is an attractive - somewhat early-period- and actually unusually seen! - silver-toned, so-called: N.S.D.A.P.- (ie. D.A.F.- or: 'Deutsches Arbeitsfront') related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') as was specifically issued to commemorate a gathering simply named the: 'Gautagung der Technik - Karlsruhe - 1.-4. Nov. 35' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit surely issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in silver-toned- and - I deem- typical aluminium-based metal - shows a bridge, tower and telepone-poles coupled with a swastika device and text that reads: 'Gautagung der Technik - Karlsruhe - 1.-4. Nov. 35' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The shield-shaped- and medium-sized piece (having an approximate height of 4,4 cms.) was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished. The badge shows a clearly present makers'-designation on its back (that reads: 'B.H. Mayer - Pforzheim') and comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. It should be noted that all 'tinnies' that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'town'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive, N.S.D.A.P. (ie. DAF-) related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
