Superb - and rarely seen! - 'Sicherheits- u. Hilfsdienst' (ie. 'SHD'-) armbadge (ie. 'Ärmelabzeichen') being a black-coloured example depicting the: 'ST'-characters as was intended for a member serving as a: 'Mitglied des SHD-Stabes'

This is a truly attractive - and actually rarely encountered! - example of a neatly 'BeVo'-woven, so-called: 'Sicherheits- u. Hilfsdienst' (ie. 'SHD'-) armbadge (ie. 'Ärmelabzeichen') being a black-coloured (and bright-green rimmed) example depicting the white-toned: 'ST'-characters as was intended for a member serving as a: 'Mitglied des SHD-Stabes' (or: SHD-staff-member) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The badge - which depicts the white-toned: 'ST'-characters onto a black- (and/or green-rimmed) coloured background - was introduced in late 1941 and was one of a series of - at least - six different such SHD speciality- ie. trade-badges. These 'specialist' badges were worn on the left upper-arm. The piece on offer here comes in a truly 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'- (and of course fully unconfectioned-), condition: it just shows some minimal fraying on its bottom (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and actually rarely encountered! - 'SHD'-arm-patch as was used by one of the lesser known TR-organisations: I deem this the hardest to encounter armshield of the SHD-arm-patch-series!
