Attractive, linnen-based- and/or light-blue-coloured armband (ie. 'Armbinde') depicting an interwoven capital 'M'-character as was presumably intended for staff-members of the German RLB (ie. 'Reichsluftschutz-Bund')

This is an attractive, linnen-based- and/or typical light-blue-coloured armband (ie. 'Armbinde') depicting an interwoven (white-coloured) capital 'M'-character as was presumably intended for staff-members (ie. 'Melder') of the German RLB (ie. 'Reichsluftschutz-Bund') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit issued- and/or minimally worn-), condition. These neat linnen-based armbands were (presumably) used by the various (civil- and/or military-) staff-members of the German air-raid-warden service (ie. 'RLB') and signified: 'Melder'. The armband on offer here measures approximately 38,5 x 10 cms. and is executed in typical, fine-structured linnen (showing a white-coloured- and interwoven capital 'M'-character on its front as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows some minimal staining ie. dust simply caused by moderate wear and/or decades of storage (as can be seen on the pictures). This example originates from a larger-sized armband-collection that was compiled over the years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Of additional interest is, moreover, the tiny interwoven '13'-numeral on its back (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem that I have priced this interesting RLB- (ie. 'Reichsluftschutz-Bund'-) related example accordingly!
