Neat - albeit moderately worn! - 'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Bronze' being a maker- (ie. 'MK' in a triangle-) marked (and/or minimally converse- ie. vaulted-) example by a to date still unidentified maker as was executed in golden-bronze-toned,...

This example is an attractive - and in my opinion just moderately used- and/or worn - war-badge ie. 'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Bronze' (or: infantry assault-badge or IAB): it has a 'typical' (integrated) catch and/or pin(-set-up) as found on IABs by this particular maker. This example is a clearly maker- (ie. 'MK' in a triangle-) marked (and/or minimally converse- ie. vaulted-) example as was executed in golden-bronze-toned- and/or typical zinc-based metal ('Feinzink'). The exact maker (Hersteller) 'MK' (which presumably stands for: 'Metall u. Kunststoff') is to date still unidentified. The badge was with certainly issued and comes in a truly used- ie. worn, condition (as can be seen on the pictures). It was never cleaned nor polished and retains most of its (light-toned) golden-bronze-coloured finish as can be seen on the pictures. The thin-shaped pin and/or typical catch (ie. set-up-) are of course fully functional and/or present (they come both in a pristine condition). The piece - which originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently found - shows as stated above only minimal wear, age and/or staining but is nevertheless still an attractive example. Simply a nice maker-marked- and/or 'solid-back' IAB-variant that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
