Superb - and moderately used! - WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-type, hand-embroidered breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Offiziere') as executed in golden-coloured braid (and Cellueon!) as was intended for usage on the various officers'-pattern tunic...

This is an attractive - and with certainty used and/or carefully tunic-removed! - example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'- (ie. evt. NCO-) type, hand-embroidered- (and truly very detailed!) naval-type breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Offiziere der Kriegsmarine') being executed in various types of bright-golden-coloured braid (and/or: Cellueon-based material!) onto a darker-blue-coloured- and/or 'smooth'-woolen-based background and that comes in an overall very nice- (and as stated above I deem just moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. This example - having a length ie. 'wingspan' of approximately 10 cms. - is very nicely hand-embroidered using amongst other material (bright) golden-coloured 'braid' onto a darker-blue-coloured (and/or woolen-based-) background and has some 'highlighted areas' as executed in (somewhat more shiny) golden-coloured- and Cellueon-based thread (as can be seen on the pictures). The eagle - that shows minimal usage and wear as can be noticed on the pictures - shows an additional bluish-toned, linnen-based 'backing' as more often (as can be seen on the pictures). This example originated from a small naval breast-eagle-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) officers'-type breast-eagle of the 'Extra Qualität' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
