'Wiederholungsspange zum EK II. Klasse' (or: bar to the WWI IC second class) being a maker- (ie. 'L/11'-) marked example by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Wilh. Deumer' as based in the town of Lüdenscheid

This is an attractive - and (I deem) issued albeit simply never used nor tunic-attched! - example of a so-called: 'Wiederholungsspange zum EK II. Klasse' (or: bar to the WWI IC second-class) being a typical maker- (ie. 'L/11'-) marked and zinc-based (ie. 'Feinzink-versilbertes') example as was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Wilhelm Deumer' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit most certainly issued- albeit simply never worn-), condition. The neat piece is clearly tarnished and has regrettably lost its (once present) brightt-silver-toned finish (this has just faded away over the years ie. has 'migriert'): it is, however, still very detailed and/or pronounced as to be expected: it retains all its four functional (and totally unaltered) prongs (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' is as stated above only minimally stained ie. dirty: it retains a very nice age-patina and was I deem never cleaned nor polished. It came together with a period piece of WWI-period IC-ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') that measures approximately 15 cms. These attractive - by the 'Wilhelm Deumer'-company produced - 'Wiederholungsspangen zum EK II. Klasse' are nowadays quite scarcely encountered and are not that easily found. Simply a very attractive example that is I deem accordingly priced!
