Stunning - and ususually seen! - 'hollow-back'-pattern 'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber' being a non-maker-marked example as executed in silver-toned metal (ie. 'Buntmetall' ie. Tombak) as was produced by the: 'Wilh. Deumer'-company

This is a very attractive - and actually very scarcely found! - example of an: 'Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or: silver-class infantry-assault badge ie. IAB) being a (typical) non-converse-shaped, 'hollow-back'-pattern and/or non-maker-marked example as was executed in (bright- ie. truly 'frosted'!) silver-toned metal (ie. 'Buntmetall' ie. Tombak) and that was produced by the desirable: 'Wilhelm Deumer'-company and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem issued- albeit hardly used- nor worn-), condition. This example has a (typical) rectangular-shaped pin-set-up and typical catch (as only seen on IABs as produced by the 'Wilhelm Deumer'-company) and seems to be totally uncleaned and has still a very attractive and just minimally 'tarnished' age-patina: truly all of its period finish has been nicely preserved (as is not always the case). The pin and/or catch (ie. set-up-) are of course fully functional and present. The piece shows some minimal wear and/or staining but was with certainty never cleaned nor polished. It should be noted that IABs as produced by the 'Wilhelm Deumer'-company are quite difficult to encounter and are not often offered for sale. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a truly scarcely encountered 'Buntmetall-based IAB-variant' that was produced by the: 'Wilhelm Deumer'-company as based in the town of Lüdenscheid and that is priced according to its comparative rarity and/or desirability!
