This is an attractive - and actually truly scarcely encountered! - officers'-pattern, so-called: 'Luftschutz' (ie. RLB-) breast-badge (ie. 'Brustabzeichen') being a very detailed example as executed in so-called: 'flat-wire', 'BeVo'-weave-pattern onto a greyish-blue-coloured background and that comes in an overall very nice ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'- and/or never tunic-attached-, condition. These attractive breast-badges were worn on the various (Luftwaffe-type) blue-coloured officers'-tunics throughout the war. The nicely detailed patch on offer here - which measures approximately 15,3 x 4,8 cms. - simply shows no wear nor damage whatsoever and comes as straightly 'cut-of the role' and was naturally never folded nor confectioned (as can be seen on the pictures). It is just a tiny bit wrinkled and does show some minimal storage-age only (as can be noticed on the pictures). This is just the second such neat 'flat-wire'-woven example I did ever encounter. Simply a great opportunity to acquire a neat officers'-pattern, so-called: 'Luftschutz' (ie. RLB-) breast-badge for a competitive price!
