Superb, (pre)WWI-period: 'Bayern Militär-Verdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' being a nicely preserved example that came stored in its luxuriously styled, light-blue-coloured etui (marked: 'Hofkunstanstalt Jacob Leser - Straubing')

This is a very attactive example of a neatly enamelled, (pre)WWI-period so-called: 'Bayern Militär-Verdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' being a very nicely preserved example that came stored in its luxuriously styled, light-blue-coloured etui (that is clearly maker-marked: 'Hofkunstanstalt Jacob Leser - Straubing') and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved- (and I deem only minimally worn- ie. used-), condition. The attractive (and truly bright-silverish-coloured- ie. 'frosted-style'-) award is also a nicely preserved example that retains all of its bright silver-toned finish and fully preserved and totally undamaged enamelled surface (as can be seen on the pictures) and came together with its period (non-confectioned- and/or folded) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') which is stored in the specific 'top-compartment' in the etui. The light-blue-coloured- and/or semi-leather-based etui comes also in a nice and moderately used condition: it retains a fully preserved darker-blue-coloured- and/or felt-like interior in place (which does show some minimal age and/or staining). The etui shows a (golden-toned) makers'-designation stamped into the lid of the etui that reads: 'Hofkunstanstalt Jacob Leser - Straubing' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The top of the etui shows the (obligatory) silverish-coloured, printed text: 'Bayr. M.V.Kr. 2.Kl.' and shows an (inked) numeral that reads: '23483' (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem that I have priced this very attractive 'Bayern Militär-Verdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern'-medal-set accordingly!
