This is an attractive example of the typical Police- (ie. 'Polizei'-) related so-called: 'M43-pattern, 'combined cap-eagle- and cocarde-device' as executed in 'BeVo'-weave technique as was specifically intended for usage of the field-grey-coloured: 'Polizei-Einheitsmützen' and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. never used- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The patch has the regular 'Polizei' greyish-green-coloured background and has never been cap-mounted: it comes as 'straightly cut-off the role' and just shows some minimal age and/or staining. The piece is woven in the specific 'BeVo'-weave technique as to be expected. Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive 'Polizei'-related M43-cap-badge for a competitive price!
