  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (singles)

The truly attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless with certainty scarcely found! - neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) NCO-type (and 'Infanterie'-related) shoulderstrap is (I deem) of the early- (ie. mid-war-) period- (ie. 'M41- o. M43'-) pattern and does show some obvious age, wear and/or minimal staining. The strap has the field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' and does show the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstrap comes mounted onto its functional tongue attached and was with certainty a piece that was used onto a 'front-type'-tunic. The strap - which measures approximately 11,7 cms. in length and that shows the 'standard-issue'- (ie. 'sub-dued'-) pattern, bluish-grey-toned NCO-braid attached - was used by a: 'Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant) who was attached to a specific: 'Maschinengewehr-Abteilung', numbered: '4' (being a specific army- ie. infantry-related, machine-gunners unit). The strap shows a greyish-silver-toned- (Gothic-styled, smaller-sized and/or zinc-based) so-called: 'M'-'cypher' (ie. 'Ziffer'), smaller-sized and equally-styled (and smaller) '4'-numeral and a single (equally styled and/or regular-sized) pip, period-attached. It should be noted that ALL NCO-pattern, 'Maschinengewehr'-related shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'scarce' (even more so when they are neatly 'cyphered' as this example on offer here). Simply, a neat early- (ie. mid-) war-period, NCO-type shoulderstrap as was specifically intended for a: 'Feldwebel des Maschinengewehr-Abteilungs 4' and that is I deem with certainty accordingly priced!
