Superb - and/or fully matching! - WH (Heeres), neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard-pair as piped in the bright-red-coloured branchcolour as was intended for an: 'Oberst des Artillerie-Regiments 54'

This is a truly attractive - and/or fully matching! - high-ranked, WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that is piped in the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: an: 'Oberst des Artillerie-Regiments 54' (or: full-colonel who served - ie. presumably even commanded! - the army-artillery regiment, numbered: '54') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn- and/or tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboards never had any tongues attached and were clearly intended (and used) as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern. They are truly 'text-book'-examples of the 'Heeres'-type 'Artillerie'-shoulderboards and have the greyish-silver- (ie. somewhat sub-dued-) 'upperdecks'. The boards show the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour (and are constructed from the smooth- ie. 'moleskin'-type wool). The boards show four (identical, larger-sized, golden-toned- and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based- albeit tarnished) pips and two pairs of (identical, larger-sized) '5'- and/or '4'-numerals (ie. 'cyphers' or Ziffern) period-attached, denoting the (high) officers'-rank of: 'Oberst'. The boards measure approximately 11,6 cms. in length each and were most certainly used and/or worn as such and just show some minimal age, wear and/or staining. Simply a very attractive - and comparatively scarcely encountered! - officers'-type, 'Artillerie'-related shoulderboard-pair that belonged to an: 'Oberst des Artillerie-Regiments 54'!
