Superb - and truly rarely seen! - neatly hand-embroidered, officers'-type visor-cap-eagle on a greenish-toned background as was specifically intended for the various various staff-members belonging to the: 'Diplomatisches Korps o. Staatsbeamte'

This is a truly very attractive - and actually exceedingly rarely encountered! - example of a neatly hand-embroidered, officers'-type visor-cap-eagle (ie. 'Schirmmützenadler für Beambten u. Mitglieder des Diplomatisches Korps o. Staatsbeamte') that comes embroidered onto a greenish-tan-coloured background as was specifically intended for usage by the various diplomats and/or foreign-office staff-members and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately used- and/or carefully visor-cap-removed-), condition. The attractive eagle - having a 'wingspan' of approximately 13,2 cms. - is very nicely hand-embroidered using various tones of silver-toned 'braid'-based material onto a greenish-tan-coloured (and/or woolen-based) background: moreover, does it show some highlighted areas as executed in somewhat shiny, silver-toned- and/or braid-based thread (as can be seen on the pictures). The eagle is - as stated above - clearly used- and was once visor-cap-attached: it is, however, void of any real damage but does show some staining ie. corroded areas. It shows a bluish-black-coloured and (thin-shaped) paper-based 'backing' as is more often observed and does show an inked (but undecypherable) inventory-numeral (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat occasion to acquire a very attractive - and exceedingly rarely found! - example of the 'Extra Klasse'-quality, TR-period visor-cap-eagle that can naturally easily be re-attached to any 'Diplomatisches Korps o. Staatsbeamte Schirmmütze' or to be simply kept in any eagles'-collection: just the first such rare example I ever had on offer!
