This is an attractive, later- (ie. mid-war-) period, WH (Heeres) 'Panzer'-type breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Panzertruppen') as was specifically intended for usage on the black-coloured 'wrap-around'- tunics being a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' example as was executed in bluish-grey-coloured linnen on a black-coloured background and that comes in a wonderful and/or fully unconfectioned, condition. The piece was naturally never trimmed- nor pre-folded and just shows some slight staining, simply caused by decades of storage only. The eagle comes as 'straightly cut-of the role' and can naturally easily serve to restore any black-woolen Panzer 'wrap-around'-tunic. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a neat replacement PZ-breasteagle for a competitive price!
