This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless not that easily found! - early-pattern, so-called: 'Allgemeine-HJ' (ie. general 'Hitlerjugend') shoulderstrap as was intended for usage - and clearly worn! - by a: 'Hitlerjunge' who was attached to the: 'Bann 118' (Bann 118 = 'Bann Worms' in the 'Gebiet West Hessen-Nassau') and that comes in an overall nice- (I deem just moderately used- ie. carefully tunic- or shirt-removed-), condition. The strap - which is executed in typical, beige-tan-coloured linnen as to be expected - has the bright-red-coloured- (and rayon-based) piping attached and shows the machine-embroidered - by means of 'Kurbelstickerei' (and/or equally coloured) so-called: '118'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern'). The strap never had a tongue attached and comes as found and/or issued: it is of 'sewn-in'-pattern (and was also used as such). The strap - that shows a period-attached 'RzM'-etiket - measures 11,2 cms. in length and does show some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by minimal wear and/or decades of storage only. It should be noted that all 'cyphered' (ie. 'Hitlerjugend') shoulderstraps can easily be graded 'scarce' even more so when they are of the desirable early-pattern!
