The attractive - and just moderately used- and/or worn - WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair on offer here is piped in the desirable, white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such intended for usage (and with certainty used by!) a: 'Leutnant eines Infanterie-Regiments' (or: junior-officer- ie. lieutnant who served within an army infantry-related unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. most certainly issued and/or moderately used- ie. worn- and I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The attractive shoulderboards are 'text-book'-examples of the 'Heeres'-type, 'Infanterie'-related officers'-pattern shoulderboards and have the greysish-silver-coloured (ie. somewhat-sub-dued-) 'upperdecks' (making this a pair that was - I deem - intended for usage on a typical 'front-used'-tunic). The boards show the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the typical smooth-type wool as more often seen). The boards - which measure approximately 11,5 cms. in length each - never had any tongues attached and were clearly used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was, however, moderately used as such and does show some age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair came with a (matching) set of (field-grey-toned- and/or pebbled-styled) 'Schraubknöpfe' (ie. screw-on-buttons) attached (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant eines Infanterie-Regiments' and that is accordingly priced!
