Attractive - and not that often encountered! - brownish-red-toned- and/or: 'Meissen'-porcelain-based: 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille' showing two shaking hands and bearing the text: 'Zur Erinnerung - 13. März/10. April 1938'

This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often encountered! - brownish-red-toned- and/or: 'Meissen'-porcelain-based, so-called: commemorative-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille') showing on its front two shaking hands (and double swastika-signs!) and bearing the text: 'Zur Erinnerung - 13. März/10. April - 1938' and on its back a map of Europe coupled with the text: 'Ein Volk - Ein Reich - Ein Führer' and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem most certainly issued- ie. awarded-), condition. The neat - medium-sized piece having an approximate diameter of approximately 5,4 cms. - has very pronounced detail and was never cleaned nor polished: it has maintained a typical age-patina and is very detailed and/or pronounced (but also shows some regular tarnish as can be seen on the pictures). These neat - and I deem semi-official - presentation-pieces (which are sometimes referred to as: 'Böttger-Medaillen' after its initital designer) were used as some sort of commemorative-awards. The piece originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered as issued and stored for decades. The plaque bears a clear makers'-designation ie. Meissen-logo ie. two crossed swords (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that this (fragile) piece is really nicely preserved and is totally void of any damage and shows a fully preserved golden-tone rim (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and with certainty unusually encountered! - 'Meissen-Porzellan'-based table-medal ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille' that is entitled: 'Zur Erinnerung - 13. März/10. April - 1938'!
