Neat - albeit single - early- (ie. mid-) war-period, WH (Heeres) so-called: 'M40'- (ie. 'M43'-) pattern, NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for - and worn by! - a: 'Wachtmeister eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Regiments'

The neat WH (Heeres) shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11 cms. sized in length - has the 'standard-type'- and/or typical field-grey-coloured- and/or: woolen-based 'upperdeck' and shows the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or: desirable 'silk-like'-type branchcolour ie. piping, attached. The strap was only minimally used- and/or worn and does show only minimal staining and/or age mainly caused by decades of storage only (the strap is, however, fully void of any damage as can be seen on the pictures). The strap comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue and has the neat 'standard'-type, silverish-coloured 'Heeres'-type NCO-braid and a single (aluminium-based) pip period-attached denoting the NCOs'-rank of: 'Wachtmeister o. Feldwebel' (ie. sergeant). Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive and/or fully 'text-book', 'M40'- (ie. 'M43'-) styled, NCO-type shoulderstrap that was intended for usage by an: 'Wachtmeister eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Regiments': too bad that it is only a single example!
