The attractive - and actually scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair on offer here is piped in the desirable, darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such intended for usage (and I deem minimally used by!) a: 'Leutnant eines (Nebel)Werfer-Regiments' (or: junior-officer- ie. lieutnant who served within an army smoke-troops-related unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. most certainly issued and/or moderately used- ie. worn- and I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The truly attractive shoulderboards are 'text-book'-examples of the 'Heeres'-type, 'Nebelwerfer'-related officers'-pattern shoulderboards and have the greysish-silver-coloured (ie. somewhat-sub-dued-) 'upperdecks' (making this a pair that was - I deem - intended for usage on a typical 'front-used'-tunic). The boards show the desirable darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured branchcolour (and were constructed from the typical smooth-type wool as more often seen). The boards - which measure approximately 11,9 cms. in length each - never had any tongues attached and were clearly used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was, however, moderately used as such and does show some age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive WH (Heeres) shoulderboard-pair pair that belonged to a: 'Leutnant eines (Nebel)Werfer-Regiments' and that is accordingly priced!
