Superb - very unusual and only twice before encountered! - linnen-based- and/or: 'BeVo'-woven (smaller!) cloth-based sportshirt-patch depicting a capital: 'H' and 'U'-character as intended for usage by students of the: 'Universität Heidelberg...

This is a truly very unusual - and only twice before by me encountered! - linnen-based- and/or: neatly 'BeVo'-woven cloth-based sportshirt-patch (ie. 'Sporthemd-Abzeichen') depicting a capital: 'H'- and/or 'U'-character with above a stylished so-called: 'Reichsadler'-device as was (presumably) intended for usage by students serving within the: 'Universität Heidelberg' and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem just minimally used- and/or once tunic- ie. shirt-attached-), condition. The shield-shaped- and multi-coloured patch - which shows an interwoven makers'-designation that reads: 'Muster Ges.Gesch.' - is the smaller-sized 'variant' (these neat patches came apparently in two sizes) and measures: 8,4 x 6 cms. and was just moderately used (it comes in a pre-folded condition and sttill shows some stitching-holes/remains with which it was once tunic- ie. shirt-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and without doubt rarely encountered! - piece of TR-period cloth-insignia that would most certainly merit further investigative work!
