Two-pieced medal-bar (ie. 'Doppelspange') respectively depicting a WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz mit Schwertern') and a: 'Treuedienst Ehrenzeichen 2. Klasse'

This is an attractive - and in this uncommonly found combination not that often seen! - two-pieced medal-bar (ie. 'Doppelspange') respectively depicting a WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz mit Schwertern') and a neatly silvered: 'Treuedienst Ehrenzeichen 2. Klasse' (or: silver-class, loyal-service-medal for 25 yrs. of loyal civil-service) both pieces coming in an overall nice- (albeit minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. Both awards are truly bronze- (ie. tarnished golden-) and/or silver-coloured and 'fairly frosted' examples that are just minimally tarnished by age and/or moderate usage and wear (as can be seen on the pictures) but are both void of any real damage or alike. Both pieces come naturally mounted on their period ribbons and have a nicely preserved age-patina and are just a tiny bit dirty: they were (I deem) never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The entire 'Spange' is nicely 'backed' with a piece of bright-red-coloured linnen and shows a (regular-type- and functional) pin- ie. catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' is a clearly maker- (ie. 'G.5'-) marked example. The black-enemalled centre of the 'Treuedienst Ehrenzeichen 2. Klasse' is fully present but does show some scratches (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive example of a two-pieced WW1- ie. TR-related 'Ordenspange' in an uncommonly found combination that is accordingly priced!
