Attractive, WH (Luftwaffe) silver-coloured and aluminium-based belt-buckle, being a maker- (ie. 'F.W. Assmann & Söhne'-) marked example that comes mounted onto its leather-based tab and that comes in a minimally used condition

This is a truly very attractive example of a early-war-period- and regular-pattern! - WH (Luftwaffe) silver-coloured- and/or typical ('molded') aluminium-based belt-buckle, being a neatly maker- (ie. 'F.W. Assmann & Söhne - Lüdenscheid'-) marked- and dated ('1941') example that comes mounted onto its natural-coloured leather-based tab and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The buckle truly retains almost all of its somewhat 'shiny', silverish-grey-coloured finish without showing any defaults whatsoever: it was simply never cleaned nor polished and does show some minimal age- and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The inside of the buckle shows some obvious dust caused by over more than 80 years of storage. The leather-based tab is naturally also still fully functional and souple: it shows a clearly present (typical oval-shaped) makers'-designition- and/or years'-stamp which is (unusally!) stamped onto its back (as can be clearly seen in the pictures) and remains in an equally nicely preserved condition overall (it was I deem never greased nor oiled but does show some minimal age ie. staining). The buckle itself is non-maker-marked as is more often observed. It should be noted that these nicely preserved examples are nowadays quite difficult to encounter. The piece originates from an extensive belt-buckle-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive, early-war period- and/or: 'regular'-pattern, 'Luftwaffe'-example that is priced according to its overall very nice ie. minimally used- and/or worn condition!
