Superb - and rarely encountered! - JM/BDM (ie. 'Jungmädel' o. 'Bund Deutscher Mädel') neatly hand-embroidered leaders-breast-badge (ie. 'Brustabzeichen') as was intended for a: 'BDM-Gruppenführerin eines JM-Bannes'

This is a very attractive - and truly rarely encountered! - so-called: (ie. 'Jungmädel' o. 'Bund Deutscher Mädel') neatly hand-embroidered, leaders-breast-badge (ie. 'Brustabzeichen o. schildförmiges Brustwappen für das weisser o. Sommer-Dienstjackett') as was intended for a leader with the rank of a: 'BDM-Gruppenführerin eines JM-Bannes' and that comes in a very nice- (ie. simply never used- nor worn- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The neat breastbadge - being of the second- (ie. war-time-) pattern as was introduced in 1943 - is approximately 7 x 6 cms. sized: it comes in a simply never worn nor used condition and will be very hard to be upgraded: it misses, however, its paper-based 'RzM'-etiket and has a neat 'buckram'-based 'backing' as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The details and craftmenship shown on this neat female youth-badge that originates from a private house-hold are simply stunning and very pronounced. Of interest is, moreover, the fact that this deals with a generic-example: it misses a hand-embroidered 'Bann'-numeral and has never been 'cut into shape'. The piece is void of any damage or alike and will be hard to be upgraded: it does show, however, some minimal glue- ie. carton-remains caused by having been glued into an album- or scrapbook once. Simply a very attractive and unusally encountered JM/BDM-related leaders'-item that comes not that often for sale!
