Attractive, WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen in Stoff' (ie. cloth-based destroyer war-badge) being a multi-coloured example that that is nicely machine-embroidered on darker-blue-coloured wool

This an attractive - and actually not that easily encountered! - WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen in Stoff' (ie. cloth-based naval destroyer-war-badge) being a multi-coloured and detailed example that that is very nicely machine-embroidered and that comes in an overall nice- (and I deem never used- nor even tunic-attached-), condition. This particular example has truly great pronounced detail and closely resembles its metal-based counterparts. The piece is nicely 'backed' with black-coloured, linnen-based 'cheese-duck' as is more often encountered (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge was presumably issued but was (I deem) simply never worn nor tunic-attached: it shows some minimal age and/or staining caused by decades of storage only. These cloth-based versions were preferred by the soldiers, NCOs and/or officers 'stationed in the field ie. on sea' for obvious reasons. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this piece shows an additional (thin-shaped) 'buckram'-based 'backing' (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive and fully 'text-book'-example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) 'Zerstörerkriegsabzeichen in Stoff' that is accordingly priced!
