Superb - neatly 'cyphered' albeit regrettably single! - Waffen-SS, officers'-pattern shoulderboard as was intended for usage by a: 'Hauptsturmführer der SS-Veterinär-Truppen'

This is an attractive - neatly 'cyphered' albeit regrettably single! - Waffen-SS, officers'-pattern shoulderboard as piped in the rarely seen, darker-pink- ie. crimson- (or: 'karmesinroter'-) coloured as was intended for usage by (or: captain who served within an veterinarian unit) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly used- and/or worn-), condition. The board - which is approximately 11 cms. sized in length as more often encountered - is piped in the neat darker-pink- ie. crimson- (or: 'karmesinroter'-) coloured and/or: 'smooth'-type wool and came without tongue: it was clearly used as a board of the 'sew-in-type'. The board shows a regular-sized- (and bright golden-coloured) so-called: veterinarian- (ie. snake-type-) cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and two smaller-sized pips period-attached, denoting the officers'-function of: 'Veterinär' with the rank of: 'Hauptsturmführer'. The board has the silverish-grey-coloured- and/or fairly shiny 'upperdeck'. It was with certainty carefuly tunic-removed and does show some stitching-remains. It should, however, be noted that the darker-pink- ie. crimson- (or: 'karmesinroter'-) coloured branchcolour is one of the more difficult to encounter branchcolours of the entire: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'. This particular board originated from a larger cloth- ie. 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Nevertheless a great occasion to acquire an attractive and/or desirable Waffen-SS officers'-pattern shoulderboard that was intended by a: 'Hauptsturmführer der SS-Veterinär-Truppen'!
