Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early-war period- (ie. 'M36/M40'-pattern-, rounded-styled) 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied einer Nebelwerfer-Lehr-Abts.'

This is a truly attractive - and/or fully matching and with certainty scarcely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres), early-war period- (ie. 'M36/M40'-pattern, rounded styled) and neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstraps as was piped in the desirable darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied einer Nebelwerfer-Lehr-Abteilung' (or: sergeant first-class and presumably instructor who served within one of the army smoke-troop-training units) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem clearly used ie. worn- and carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which are approximately 11,2 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-type'- and/or: darker-green-coloured- and/or 'smooth-woolen'-based 'upperdecks' and have (as to be expected) the darker-purple-red- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured- and/or 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - which never had any tongues attached and that were intended as a pair of the ‘sew-in’-pattern - show as stated above only minimal usage and/or wear (some minor wear, staining and/or dust is visible and/or present). The straps came with a pair of silver-toned buttons attached and show the (standard-pattern) silver-coloured (ie. somewhat shiny) NCO-braid attached and show a matching pair of silver-toned- (regular-sized- and/or: aluminium-based) so-called: 'L'-'cyphers' (ie. 'Ziffern') and four (also regular-sized- and aluminium-based) pips, period-attached. It should be noted that ALL NCO-pattern, 'Nebelwerfer'-type shoulderstraps can easily be regarded 'scarce' (even more so when they are neatly 'cyphered' as this pair on offer). This particular pair - which is as stated above completely matching - originated from an older cloth- and/or shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired. The straps are partly constructed from so-called: 'boiled-wool' and are (I deem) a typical pair that originates from a private tailor-shop. Simply an attractive shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Oberfeldwebel u. Mitglied einer Nebelwerfer-Lehr-Abteilung'!
