Superb, black-class wound-badge (or: 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Schwarz') being a non-maker-marked example that comes stored in its original, carton-based pouch as was produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Richard Simm & Söhne'

This is an attractive - and in such completely minty- and/or untouched condition fairly unusually seen! - example of a: black-class wound-badge (or: 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Schwarz') being a non-maker-marked example that comes stored in its original, carton- (ie. 'Zellstoff'-) based pouch as was produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller'): 'Richard Simm & Söhne' and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem issued- albeit hardly worn-), condition. The - steel-based- ie. magnetic - black-class wound-badge is a very attractive example having great detail: all of its (truly shiny- ie. 'glossy'-like) finish is still perfectly preserved whereas the WB has a minimal 'blackened' tarnish ie. age-patina. It comes naturally mounted onto its functional (and totally unaltered!) pin- ie. pin-/catch set-up: moreover, does it show some engraved initials that read: 'FV' or alike (as can be noticed on the pictures). The pouch - which is scarcely found in itself! - is unusual, having a printed makers'-mark on the back (that reads: 'Richard Simm & Söhne' as based in the town of Gablonz a. N.). The pouch comes also in an overall nice - and of course fully functional - condition. The set was found as such and always belonged together. I deem that the sets' comparative scarcity justifies my asking-price!
