This is an attractive - simply never used and actually not that easily found! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) machine-embroidered, so-called: trade- ie. special-career-patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') showing a greyish-silver-toned 'Kordel' attached as was specifically intended for: 'LW-Kraftfahrpersonal' (ie. drivers) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and simply never worn- nor tunic-attached- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The badge - which has the neat 'greyish-silver'- and cord-like border' (ie. 'Kordel') attached - signified that the bearer had sucessfully succeeded various tests in this speciality. The piece - which shows a additionally-added linnen-based- and/or beige-green-coloured 'backing' - is nicely machine-woven on a LW bluish-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and simply shows no wear whatsoever. These badges ranked actually amongst the 'award-category' and came together with an official award-document and had to be properly entered in both 'Soldbuch' and 'Wehrpass'. Simply an attractive - and not that often encountered! - LW-'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen' that is accordingly priced!
