The attractive - and with certainty unusually seen! - day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in golden-bronze-coloured- (ie. I deem tin-based) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has been simply nicely preserved over the years. The non-maker-marked- (shield-shaped- and somewhat smaller-sized) day-badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains truly all of its minimally tarnished, golden-coloured finish. It shows a detailed illustration of a hand holding a torch (in front of some flying flags), a broken chain and eagle-device surrounded by the text: '9. Jan.-12. Febr. - 10 Jahre befreite Pfalz - 1924 - 1934'. It should be noted that all N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Kreis'- or: 'Gau'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply a neat - and actually not that often seen! - N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' that is accordingly priced!
