Fully matching - and truly scarcely seen! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Wachtmeister des Festungs-Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 33'

Category:

  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (pairs)

This is a truly attractive - and/or fully matching and actually scarcely seen! - (I deem) pre-war-period pair of of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Wachtmeister des Festungs-Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 33' (or: sergeant who served within a specific anti-aircraft-unit, numbered: '33') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. moderately worn- ie. clearly used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 11,2 cms. in length each - show the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour and have the 'rayon'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps that came without tongues were clearly used as a pair of the sew-in-pattern (I deem that they were once attached to a so-called: 'Viertaschenrock'. They show - next to the standard LW-pattern NCO-braid - a matching pair of the neat ('Buntmetall'-based- and/or: 'Gothic'-styled) so-called: 'F'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern'), a double pair of (equally styled) '3'-numerals) and pips attached denoting that te pair was intended for usage by a : 'Wachtmeister des Festungs-Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 33'. The straps show some clear age, wear and/or staining but are totally void of any real damage or alike. This pair originated from a smaller lot of 'cyphered' LW-straps and boards that I recently acquired for the web-site: it should, moreover, be noted that all 'cyphered' LW-straps are truly very hard to find. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and rarely seen! - NCO-type, LW-shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for a: 'Wachtmeister des Festungs-Flakartillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments 33'!
