The neat day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in golden-bronze-coloured- (ie. tin-or pot-metal based) material: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has been truly nicely preserved. The neat shield-shaped badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch(set-up) and has never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' depicts an illustration of a Herzog Johann Casimir and towns'-impression coupled with the text that reads: 'Herzog Johann Casimir Jahr - Coburg 1933' (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is truly detailed and retains all of its somewhat darkened and/or: minimally tarnished golden-bronze-coloured finish. It should be noted that all (early) N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'Kreis'- ie. 'Bezirks'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. The piece is totally void of a makers'-designation (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a neat - and not that often seen! - 'tinnie' that was issued to commemorate a celebration held in the town of Coburg in the year 1933!
