Zinc-based - albeit broken in two parts - WH (Heeres) 'Artillerie'-related ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that reads: 'Schw.Art.Abt.(mot.) 53 - 6 Bttr.' and that comes mounted onto its period cord as issued- and/or worn

This is an attractive - albeit clearly issued ie. worn- and broken into two parts - example of a greyish-coloured- and/or typical zinc-based WH (Heeres) 'Artillerie'-related ID-disc bearing the clearly stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Schw.Art.Abt.(mot.) 53 - 6 Bttr.' (and as such being a disc that was intended for a soldier or NCO who - I deem - served within the sixth battery of the motorised, heavy-artillery, replacement- ie. 'Ergänzungs'-unit numbered: '53') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The attractive disc - that has been regrettably broken into two parts - comes nevertheless in an overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (it shows somewhat torn-out holes as can be seen on the pictures). The disc - that came mounted onto its period (shortened, roughly-shaped- but with certainty period-attached) cord as worn. The disc also shows the bearers'-blood-group-type ('Type A') something that is more often - but not always - observed. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). Of interest is, moreover, the fact that this example was once period-repaired but was nevertheless broken into two parts (as can be seen on the pictures). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc collection that was compiled over many years. Simply an attractive and honest WH (Heeres) ie. 'Schwere-Artillerie'-related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
