  1. Stolen

This is a truly attractive - and nicely preserved! - example of a multi-coloured enamelled (and typical zinc- ie. Feinzink-based) so-called: 'Gaumeisterabzeichen in Gold für Pistole 1944 des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' being a (scarcely seen!) smaller-sized and/or circular-shaped 'variant'-example that was specifically awarded for a shooting-contest held on the 'Gau'-level (using a pistol ie. 'Pistole') being a non-maker-marked example that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The very detailed - and somewhat smaller-sized - badge (having an approximate diameter of only 2,5 cms.) is executed in multi-coloured and nicely enamelled (golden-toned) zinc (ie. 'Feinzink'): it is void of any enamel-damage and retains a fully preserved golden-toned finish and green-coloured, enamelled border (just some minimal staining is visible). The badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional- and fully unaltered pin- ie. pin-catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). A similar example is also figured in the Heering-Hüsken lapel-pin-catalogue, wherein it is given the unique reference-number: 'A61UA' and wherein it is given an estimated value of 220 Eu(!). Simply an attractive shooting-award that is offered for an interesting price!
