Attractive, 'BeVo'-pattern armshield entitled: 'Idel-Ural' (being a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' example as was intended for a volunteer who served within the 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' ie. within the 'Volga Tartar Legion')

This particular armshield - showing a crossed sword- and arrow-symbol on a light-blue- and greenish-coloured shield with above that the (German) text: 'Idel-Ural' - is neatly woven in the so-called: 'BeVo'-weave-technique and comes as recently found: it was probably issued but was simply never used nor tunic-attached and can easily be graded 'virtually mint'. It just shows some minimal age and/or staining caused by decades of storage and handling over the years. These - original - 'official' arm-shields (ie. 'Ärmelschilder für Ostvölker') as executed in the 'BeVo'-type weave (ie. German manufacture by the company of 'BeVo') can be easily considered 'scarce'. Of additional interest is, moreover, the fact that this example shows the interwoven makers'-designation: 'BeVo - Wuppertal' (something that is most certainly not always encountered). I deem that I have priced this (attractive and truly 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'!) example accordingly!
