This is an attractive - locally-issued- and with certainty scarcely found! - early-period- ie. 1933-dated, golden- bronze-toned- (ie. copper-toned- and I deem zinc- ie. pot-metal-based) day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') as was issued to commemorate a: 'veteran-related'-gathering held in the Bavarian town of Ingolstadt and that is entitled: '9. Waffengedenktag - Ingolstadt 1933 - Ehem. K. Bayer. Schwere Artillerie' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit with certainty issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The detailed and/or pronounced badge - which is executed in typical, golden-bronze-toned pot-metal (ie. zinc) - shows great detail and was almost certainly never cleaned nor polished (as can be seen on the pictures). The (strangely!) shield-shaped piece depicts a detailed illustration of a heavy-artillery piece with in the background a view of the town of Ingolstadt coupled with the above-mentioned text. The badge is totally void of a makers'-designation and comes naturally mounted onto its (functional) pin- ie. pin/catch set-up. Simply an attractive and with certainty scarcely found, early-period, veteran-related 'tinnie' that is - I deem - accordingly priced!
