Attractive - and truly very detailed! - special-class, shooting-contest-related award or: 'Veranstaltungs-Abz. des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' depicting the text: 'Landesschiessen 1940 - Armeegewehr-Meisterklasse'

This is a neatly enamelled - and with certainty scarcely encountered! - circular-shaped- and/or truly larger-sized- (pre-war-period- and nationally-held!) shooting-contest-related award or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' (being an example of a so-called: 'Sonderklasse'!) depicting the text: 'Landesschiessen 1940 - Armeegewehr-Meisterklasse' and that comes in a truly worn- (albeit regrettably incomplete-), condition. The larger-sized badge which is an example of a specific special ie. 'Sonderklasse' - has an approximate diameter of approximately 6,2 cms.(!) and is totally void of a makers'-designation or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece regrettably misses it entire pin- ie. pin-set-up (see pictures). It retains a fully undamaged and bright-golden-toned (and quite shiny!) finish and has an undamaged, multi-coloured- and/or nicely enamelled surface (as can be seen on the pictures). These attractive shooting-event-related badges were awarded (in similar form and/or model) from 1938 onwards and are actually not that commonly encountered: even more so if they were of this specific 'Sonderklasse'!. This attractive example originates from a German private household: it was never before part of a collection. I deem that I priced this attractive (albeit regrettably incomplete but nevertheless 'high-quality-produced') example of a: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen des Standschützenverbandes Tirol-Vorarlberg' commemorating a shooting-contest named the: 'Landesschiessen 1940 - Armeegewehr-Meisterklasse', accordingly!
