Italian WWII-period: 'Orden der Italienischen Krone - Ritterkreuz für Offiziere' being a nicely preserved example that came stored in its luxuriously styled, bright-red-coloured etui (marked: 'Cra Vanzola - Roma')

This is an attactive example of an Italian, WWI-period so-called: 'Orden der Italienischen Krone - Ritterkreuz für Offiziere' being a nicely preserved example that came stored in its luxuriously styled, bright-red-coloured etui (marked: 'Cra Vanzola - Roma') and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved, condition. The attractive (and truly high-quality-produced!) award is a truly nicely preserved example that retains all of its (on both sides present!) multi-coloured, enameled surface without showing any damage nor real wear (as can be seen on the pictures). It came mounted onto its period ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') that shows a period-attached 'Rosette' (signifying that it was an example that was specifially intended for officers-usage). The bright-red-coloured- and/or semi-leather-based etui comes also in an equally nice and moderately used condition: it retains a fully preserved beige-coloured- and/or silk-like-type lining and shows a black-coloured- and felt-like 'inlay' in place. The etui shows a clearly present makers'-designation printed into its lid that reads: 'Cra Vanzola - Succ. E. Gardino - Giolelleria - Roma'. The top of the etui - that shows some minimal usage and staining - shows the (obligatory) golden-coloured, printed 'VE'- (ie. King 'Victor Emmanuel'-) logo (as can be seen on the pictures). The set originates from a private household in Germany where it was recently found as such: I am convinced that it belonged to a German officer who was awarded this foreign award. I deem that I have priced this attractive 'Orden der Italienischen Krone'-medal-set accordingly!
