German, post-WWI-period- and/or neatly 'Buntmetall'-based, so-called: 'KFB'- (ie. 'Frontkriegerbund'-) related: veterans & reservists- membership lapel-pin (being a maker- ie. 'Deschler & Sohn - München'-marked example)

The attractive - tarnished silver-toned- ie. I deem 'Buntmetall'-based- and/or partly enamelled - membership-lapel-pin (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen in Silber') shows a soldier wearing a steelhelmet coupled with the black-enamelled characters 'KFB' and multi-coloured shield (as can be seen on the pictures). The attractive lapel-pin shows some minimal wear, age ie. staining but is totally void of any (enamel) damage and is truly nicely preserved. The lapel-pin came mounted on its period, typical-shaped pin- (ie. functional pin- ie. catch-set-up) and shows a clear makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'Deschler & Sohn - München' (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that these attractive pins were worn in the late twenties (ie. thirthies) by the various WWI-veterans and/or reservists. Simply an attractive - and only moderately worn! - example of a: 'KFB'- (ie. 'Frontkriegerbund'-) related 'Mitgliedsabzeichen in Silber': hard to find a better-preserved example for a more interesting price!
