This is an attractive - and with certainty not that often- ie. even scarcely encountered! - darker-bronze-toned, so-called: A.D.A.C.-related car-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Fahrzeug-Medaille des A.D.A.C.') showing two enamelled shields, an engraved swastika-sign and text: 'Zielfahrt Gau IIb - Motor-Sp.-Club Tangermünde - 29.6.1930' and that comes in an overall wonderful and/or nicely preserved, condition. The neat - larger-sized- and/or regular- (albeit quite heavy-weight-) piece measures approximately 10,8 x 7,2 cms. and has truly pronounced detail. It was probably cleaned ie. polished over the years but nevertheless has still maintained a neat truly bronze-toned- and somewhat 'shiny' age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a clear and nicely engraved makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'G. Brehmer - Münzpräge- u. Emaillier-Anstalt - Marneukirchen'. These neat - and semi-official - presentation-pieces were used as some sort of awards and were (presumably) handed-out at A.D.A.C.-related car-rallies or alike. The piece originates from a private household in Germany where it was recently uncovered as issued and stored for decades. Simply a very attractive and with certainty unusually encountered, detailed A.D.A.C.-related car-plaque (ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Fahrzeug-Medaille des A.D.A.C.' that is with certainty not that often offered for sale!
