'Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber' being a non-maker-marked- and/or zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen of the so-called: 'egg-head'-pattern (as was presumably produced by the 'Hersteller' ie. maker: 'Gustav Brehmer')

This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of a: 'Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (or silver infantry assault badge ie. IAB) being a non-maker-marked- and/or zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen of the so-called: 'egg-head'-pattern as was produced by a to date unidentified maker (possibly 'Gustav Brehmer') and that comes in an overall very nice (IMO hardly used- nor worn-), condition. The badge on offer here concerns an (IMO later-war-period-) zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based specimen that retains all of its (fairly 'frosted') silver-coloured finish and that has maintained an attractive appearance, still showing pronounced detail as to be expected. The badge has IMO never been cleaned nor polished (and is still also a tiny bit tarnished as can be seen on the pictures). As stated above, does it deal with a so-called: 'egg-head'-pattern that naturally shows all the details as to be expected for a badge by this particular maker. Simply a nice and honest silver-class, so-called: 'egg-head'-pattern IAB that comes in an overall very nice and hardly used- nor worn condition: hard to upgrade this specimen!
