Fully matching pair of WH (Heeres), early-war period- (ie. 'M36'-pattern-) NCO-type shoulderstraps having the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for an: 'Unteroffizier der Infanterie-Truppen'

The attractive - and as more often formerly 'cyphered' - pair is piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and was as such intended for an: 'Unterofffizier der Infanterie-Truppen' (or: army-infantry junior-sergeant). The pair was I deem only moderately used and comes in an overall nice- (ie. clearly worn- ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured- and/or 'smooth-woolen'-based 'upperdecks' - have the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached (something that is more often observed with these early-period straps as can be seen on the pictures). The straps measure approximately 11,8 cms. in length each. The straps - which are of non- private-production- (ie. 'standard-issued'-) type - come natually mounted on their functional tongues and come in an overall nice- (ie. fully 'text-book'-) condition, overall. The pair shows - as stated above - moderate wear ie. age: it was clearly used and does show some minimal wear, staining and/or age (as can be seen on the pictures). Of interest is, moreover, the fact that this pair was issued as a 'cyphered'-pair: the regimental numbers: '13' are clearly and carefully removed (as per regulation). The pair shows, moreover, that not that often seen 'black'-striped NCO-braid. Simply a neat and desirable pair that is ideally fitted to complete almost any NCOs- ie. M36-pattern tunic or to be stored in any shoulderstrap- ie. insignia-collection!
