This is a neat - and not that easily found! - zinc-based, 'Organisation Todt'-related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the clearly stamped- (and 'coded'-) unit-designation that simply reads: 'Org. Todt - 288636' (and as such being a disc that was IMO used by a staff-member of the: 'Organisation Todt') and that comes in an overall nice (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The disc - which is executed in a fine letter-type - is void of the bearers' bloodgroup-type something that is more often encountered. The piece shows some minimal age and staining but was never cleaned. Simply a neat and honest 'Organisation Todt'-related ID-disc that is not that often offered for sale!
