Fully matching - and scarcely seen! - IMO later-war-peirod pair of NCO-type, so-called: 'Ostvölker' (and IMO Luftwaffe-related?) shoulderstraps (and having a dual-pieced- and horizontally-mounted pair of rank-stripes 'off-factory'-attached)

The attractive pair is 'off-factory' constructed from a 'standard'-pattern pair of 'regular'- (ie. fully 'text-book'-) so-called 'simplified' (ie. 'M44-type'-) WH (Luftwaffe) 'Pioniere- o. Bautruppen' (ie. engineers) shoulderstraps having the black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured- and/or 'silk-like'-type piping, attached. The neat straps show a 'double stripe' of silver-coloured- (regular LW-type) NCO-braid 'off-factory'-attached in a horizontal manner (almost certainly signifying an NCO-rank) although this could not be fully ascertained. The straps - which measure 9,5 cms. in length each as more often - come in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' condition and were almost certainly intended for usage by one of the foreign volunteer- ie. 'Ostvölker'-regiments. To date the exact usage or signifigance could not be identified yet. These neat pairs of 'Ostvölker'-related shoulderstraps can easily be graded 'very scarce'. I deem that this interesting shoulderstrap-pair is accordingly priced!
