Fully matching, 'cyphered' pair of WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstraps, as piped in the light-brown-coloured branchcolour, as was intended for an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Nachrichten-Trpn. u. Mitglied einer Nachrichtenschule'

This is an attractive - and/or fully matching! - pair of neatly 'cyphered' pair of WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type 'dress'-pattern shoulderstraps, as piped in the light-brown- (ie. 'hellbrauner'-) coloured branchcolour, as was intended for - and that was clearly used by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Nachrichten-Trpn. u. Mitglied einer Nachrichtenschule' (or: signals-sergeant first-class and member within one of the LW signal-schools) and that comes in an overall nice (albeit clearly used ie. worn- and/or tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 12,7 cms. in length each and come without tongues: they were intended to be worn as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern and were carefully tunic-removed. The straps are in all facets 'text-book'-examples and come in a nice condition overall: they are just moderately used. The straps - which have the rayon-type piping attached - are constructed from typical (officers-type) LW-cloth and do not show any defaults whatsoever: just some regular usage ie. regular wear is noticable and/or present. The pair shows - next to the silver-coloured NCO-braid - two (identical, silver-toned- and aluminium-based-) so-called: 'NS'-cyphers and four (equally styled-, smaller-sized and IMO zinc-based) pips period-attached, denoting the NCOs'-rank of an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Nachrichten-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Nachrichtenschule'. (All six devices show some moderate age and/or tarnish and retain all their prongs as can be seen on the pictures). The pair was clearly used as a set of dress- (ie. 'Waffenrock'-) type shoulderstraps and shows some normal discoloration and/or moderate wear (no damage nor mothing or alike is present). This attractive shoulderboard-pair was recently found at a private household in Germany and was never before part of a collection: it once belonged to an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Nachrichten-Truppen u. Mitglied einer Nachrichtenschule' who IMO most certainly was issued and used this pair and stored it as such for decades!
