  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (singles)

This is a very attractive - and actually rarely encountered albeit regrettably single! - IMO early- ie. mid-war period-, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap, as was intended for - and/or used by! - a: 'Feldwebel der Kradschützenbtle. der Pz.Div. u. Inf.Div. (mot)' (or sergeant who served within a tank- ie. infantry-related-, motor-cycle unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit minimallly used ie. worn-), condition. The strap - which is IMO of the mid-war- ie. so-called: 'M43'-type - has a field-grey-coloured 'upperdeck' and has the neat, light-brown- (ie. 'kupferbrauner'-) coloured and/or 'silk-like'-type piping. The tongue is naturally also present. The board - which is regular-sized- and measures 11,9 cms. - shows the neat, somewhat shiny and silver-coloured- ('standard'-pattern- ie. 'Heeres-type'-) NCO-braid and one single (aluminium-based) pip attached denoting the NCO's rank of: 'Feldwebel'. This rarely seen strap originated from an older shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired. As possibly known, is this typical 'kupferbrauner'-branchcolour very rarely seen and can IMO be regarded as one of the most rarely encountered branchcolours within the 'Deutsche Wehrmacht': original NCO-type straps are almost never offered for sale and are missing in most shoulderstrap-collections. Simply a very attractive and fully 'text-book', 'Kradschützen'-shoulderstrap that was IMO intended for usage on the great-coat (or even rubberised 'Kradmantel'!): too bad that it is only a single piece!
