I recently encountered a small stack comprising of 12 - fully identical and/or actually not that easily encountered! - examples of the WH (Heeres) 'tropical-pattern', machine-embroidered rank-insignia (ie. roundels), as all twelve executed in the greyish-blue-coloured linnen on a mustard-brown- (ie. tan-) coloured and/or linnen-based background, as were intended for usage by soldiers with the rank of: 'Oberschütze', all 12 pieces in overall very nice (ie. virtually mint-/unissued- and/or never tunic-attached-), condition. The pieces are as stated executed in bluish-grey-coloured linnen on a (typical) mustard-brown-coloured and/or linnen-based, background and are fully 'text-book' in all facets: the badges show however some truly minimal age ie. staining simply caused by having been stored as such for decades. The pieces - which are all neatly maker-marked - ie. showing an ink-stamp that reads: 'F.& S.' see pictures - are all showing a reinforced border (something that is not always the case). The pieces originated from the left-overs of an old clothing-depot and were never before part of any collection. The price is naturally per single patch. Simply a great occasion to acquire a genuine-, virtually mint- ie. unissued example of a: WH (Heeres) 'tropical-pattern'-rank-badge as was intended for a soldier with the rank of: 'Oberschütze'!
