Neat - albeit single but nevertheless scarcely encountered! - WH (Heeres) officers'-type, 'cyphered' shoulderboard, as was intended for a: 'Hauptmann der Feldzeug-Truppen u. Mitglied des Wehrkreis-Kommandos XII'

This is a neat - albeit single but nevertheless not that easily encountered! - WH (Heeres) officers'-type, 'cyphered' shoulderboard, as was piped in the bright-orange- (ie. 'orangeroter'-) coloured branchcolour, as was intended for - and/or used by! - a: 'Hauptmann der Feldzeug-Truppen u. Mitglied des Wehrkreis-Kommandos XII' (or: army-captain who served within an army's equipment- ie. maintenance unit that resided under the jurisdiction of the 'Wehrkreis', numbered 'XII'), in overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. clearly worn-), condition. The board has a 'bright' silver-coloured 'upperdeck' and shows the (Roman-styled-, smaller-sized and/or golden-toned-) 'XII'-numeral ie. 'cypher' and two golden-bronze-toned pips attached. All three devices are a bit tarnished from age but are nevertheless still nicely preserved. The board comes without tongue but is fitted to be worn onto a summer- or white-coloured tunic (and comes mounted on a so-called: 'auf der Steg'-mounting - see pictures). The board shows some slight glue- and/or carton-remains on its back (simply caused by having been glued into an album once). Simply an attractive and desirable 'cyphered' officers-type board that is executed in a not that often seen branchcolour!
