  1. Shoulderboards & -straps (singles)

This is an attractive - and as such actually scarcely encountered albeit regrettably single! - early- (ie. pre-war-) period WH (Heeres), 'M36'-type (rounded-style-) 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstrap as was piped in the white- (ie. weisser-) coloured branchcolour, as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 282' (or sergeant who served within the infantry-regiment numbered: '282'), in overall nice, albeit moderately used and/or worn-, condition. The neat strap - which is IMO of the pre- ie. early-war-type and only shows minimal age ie. wear - has a darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' and has the woolen-type piping as more often encountered. The piece never had a tongue and was worn as a strap of the 'sew-in-type' (see pictures). The strap - which measures approximately 12 cms. in length - shows the silverish-coloured and/or standard-type, 'Heeres' NCO-braid attached. The strap shows also the '2', '8' and '2' numerals attached (which are all three executed in silverish-coloured metal (ie. 'Buntmetall'). Next to these it shows a single (also 'Buntmetall'-based-) pip attached, denoting the NCOs-rank of: 'Feldwebel' (or sergeant): all devices shows some minimal age- ie. fair tarnish. The strap shows as stated above only moderate usage and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible-/present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-type shoulderstraps can be easily regarded 'fairly scarce'. In any case a very attractive and/or early-war period-, 'cyphered Heeres'-related shoulderstrap as was intended for a: 'Feldwebel des Infanterie-Regiments 282': too bad that it is only a single strap!
